Brings me back to the early days in the semester of the footPRINT Wisconsin project. Can’t believe the year is almost over!

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up my Dove chocolate. What a beautiful pattern of white and milk chocolate.
In honor of All Time Low coming to UW Oshkosh this Thursday, I thought I would post some of their new tshirt designs.
I enjoy the new vibe..
as compared to the older stuff..
Not that I don’t like the old designs (I happen to have the yellow shirt on the right), but their new shirts show that they’ve matured. They’re not 16 years old anymore.
You can find grids anywhere, you just need to look for them. I noticed I created some by the alignment of the posters on my walls.
(This wall features posters from stuff I’ve had my hand in, more or less. And yes, that is the concert poster I designed for class in the bottom right. If you print it, you minus well use it..)
I met the band Filligar at NACA National Convection back in February. I stopped at their booth because they had tons of awesome posters and I wanted to look at them. When I approached the band, I realized that they were one of my favorite performers from the showcase. After talking to them for a while, I learned that one of the guys actually designs all their stuff and some of them are from Wisconsin! They gave me this cool poster and now it’s in my room. Make sure to check out their website! (you can even get a free download of their album)
One of my favorite bands, Family Force 5 is doing something pretty cool. For their next music video to a song called “Zombie” they are recruiting fans for different roles in the video. They also asked fans to make posters to promote the video and used them in a youtube video. I wish I would’ve known about this sooner, because most of the posters made me chuckle.

I found abduzeedo.com through Pinterest (of course). There are tons of great ideas on this site, but my favorite is the daily inspiration section. Here’s some of the lovely things that I have found there.
Gotta love some underwater dogs. 🙂
I found this great website called losttype.com. You can purchase a wide variety of typefaces from the site. But the best thing is that YOU name the price! You can even pay $0, for all you poor college students like me. And if you do choose to pay some cash, it goes directly to the type designer. Here’s some that instantly caught my eye:
I noticed in a vending machine today that Amp Energy Drink changed their logo and packaging. Much better. See the difference.
BEFORE AFTER
How awesome are these layouts by Mitch Grossman? Seriously.

I like this one by Dimitri Kalagas as well. Good work, men!
